ADT Quick Connect burglar alarms use the latest wireless alarm technology and are installed in half a day with minimal disruption to your property. The ADT Quick Connect Package can be tailored around your property and installed within 7-14 days after receiving confirmation of your order. This ADT home alarm package is connected for a 36 month monitoring & Maintenance agreement charged at £21.49 per month. ADT provide 24/7 monitoring of your alarm system so you can relax while ADT keep a close eye for you.
Additional sensors can be added to this package for £91.00 each with a maximum of four in total. You can also upgrade the ADT QuickConnect Alarm with pet freindly sensors for an additional £1.00 per month. ADT home Alarm Systems are installed to the highest standard by ADT Engineers.

2. Who will install my ADT Alarm?
ADT do all Quick Connect installations.

3. Do I need a telephone line?
No. The signalling is all done by GPRS (SIM card).

The ADT Alarm installation normally takes Approximately 2 hours.

The detectors will be screwed as standard, as well as the keypad.

Yes. 1 year after the installation ADT will service your alarm remotely and the second year will be a physical engineer’s visit.

A low battery signal is sent to ADT ARC and an engineer will be called out. The engineer visit is free but the batteries are chargeable.

All batteries are chargeable.

13. How long does the batteries last approx on the GPRS unit, if this loses power?
As long as it is not signalling then at least a couple of hours, they are rechargeable batteries.

14. What happens if someone rips the sensor off the wall?
There will be tamper and also the warning LED on the keypad will light up after 30 seconds.

15. Will the ADT Alarm send a test signal to the ARC?
The ADT Alarm will send a test signal every 30 days via GPRS. This will not incur any phone charges as there is no need for the telephone line.

16. What happens if the GPRS drops out?
If it drops out completely, then ADT will not know about it until the 30 day test is not received, but it should now roam to another service provider.

17. What happens if the power is switched off, does ADT call the customer?
Yes, we will call the customer. The panel will send a mains fail to ADT ARC and the panel will run on standby battery.

180 seconds.

20. Why does it only ring for this long?
To conserve battery power.

No. The system will need to be reset after first activation. This is done by the customer setting the system.

22. Can the ADT Alarm have night/part set facility?
In part set mode, only the door contacts remain active (PIRs are not active). The assumption is that the PIRs are internal and the Door contacts are perimeter protection.

Yes.

No. The system is unregulated, meaning that it does not conform to NSI regulations.

25. When do I get my Free Epad?
The Free Epad is normally sent out after you have had you alarm instalation. It can take up to 28 days depending on stock and availability. We will send the Free Epad by Special Delivery to the installation address.
