Checking your burglar alarm response

Many police forces set a limit to the way they will respond to an alarm after a number of false alarms have been attended. This varies from assessing the priority of your alarm against other matters to removing you from the response list altogether. For this reason, it's always worth talking to your local crime prevention officer or visiting your local police station to check how they deal with burglar alarm responses.
